Washington, DC — Hamilton Lincoln Law Institute congratulates former President and General Counsel Melissa Holyoak on her confirmation by the U.S. Senate and swearing-in as United States Attorney for the District of Utah.

Holyoak previously served as president and general counsel of Hamilton Lincoln Law Institute. Prior to her appointment as U.S. Attorney, Holyoak served as a commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission and as Utah’s solicitor general.

Holyoak is a graduate of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where she served as an editor of the Utah Law Review and graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif.

“We congratulate Melissa on her confirmation as United States Attorney for the District of Utah,” said Ted Frank, HLLI’s director of litigation and acting president. “We are pleased to see her take on this important responsibility and wish her well in her new role.”
