HLLI President Anna St. John Nominated to Federal Bench

January 9, 2029 — FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Hamilton Lincoln Law Institute is pleased to share that President Donald J. Trump has nominated Anna St. John, its president and general counsel, to serve as a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

St. John brings decades of legal experience to the nomination, having argued appeals before the 2nd, 7th, 9th and D.C. Circuits, as well as multiple state courts. Her work combating class-action abuse has helped return more than $100 million in settlement funds to class members.

“For a decade, Anna St. John has done outstanding work leading the Hamilton Lincoln Law Institute, and we are proud to see her nominated,” said Ted Frank, co-founder and director of litigation at the Hamilton Lincoln Law Institute.

HLLI congratulates Anna St. John on her nomination and is honored to have benefited from her leadership.

Anna will continue her work at HLLI while the confirmation process proceeds.
